Kumar, on the left, is a keen trekker. When not supervising at our manufacturing unit, he can be found somewhere in the mountains. He demolishes the gear he makes if they  fail him. Colleagues complain that his test methods are a bit too extreme. Other times he is busy singing to himself on his guitar.

Prakash, on the right, is otherwise everywhere leading our trekking groups. He mostly likes to be left behind alone when not leading groups. Strong in public advocacy, he can be found mostly at community action groups and services.

Mani Kumar has been with us since start. He too enjoys the outdoors. Always a good host to the groups whenever he can get away from his sewing machine, here (year 2008) he is seen serving the members of the Bombay Natural History Society (BNHS) Butterfly Group to Sikkim. 

Mac, as he  is called at Atlas, handles the Allied Services. When not making gear he enjoys joining his village cultural group .

 This one is me, yea lol

When not making outdoor gears, I am bumming  through the mountains. Relatives and friends initially thought I was crazy leaving my cushy  job as a bureaucrat in the government. I left because I was paid too much for doing too little.

At other times I volunteer in community actions and services  e.g. water supply, sanitation, civic responsibilities, governance, education, awareness. Being on the Executive Board of different organizations leaves very little time for disco. I miss the party.

Thompu, as we fondly call him, is a regular with us on our Goechala treks. A good trekker, everyone thinks he has double lungs. Checking the first in the groups to the last one on the trail, he makes sure everyone is fine and enjoying themselves.
